Looking for a
place where you can relax? Bring your family to our private guest
house for your next vacation. You can visit the dairy, fish in
the pond, take in local attractions, shop at the outlets, or simply
enjoy the breathtaking views of Pennsylvania's Dutch Country.
The circa 1760s stone farm house is comfortable and spacious.
With 5 bedrooms the house comfortably sleeps twelve people,
making it perfect for your next family vacation, girls' weekend, or
church retreat.
The large country kitchen is fully-equipped with
modern conviences including a dishwasher without skimping on country charm. Guests can enjoy dining in with
family; all you need is your favorite foods! Just off the kitchen is the first floor laundry with full
size washer and dryer.
There's room for everyone in the large living room. Stretch
out on the leather sofa and loveseat to watch your favorite show on the
television with free satellite dish service. Nothing good on the
t.v.? How about watching a movie on the VCR/DVD player? You
can curl up in the recliner with a good book or play a board game at
the antique bench table. Our library includes family friendly
movies, books for children and adults, and a selection of board games.
The stone fireplace with gas insert and original hardwod floors
make this a warm and relaxing space. 
Also on the first floor is the master suite. The sitting
room is furnished with
a queen sleeper sofa. In the bedroom you will find a queen size
bed and armoire. French doors between the sitting room and the bedroom
can be closed for added privacy. The suite also includes a
private bathroom with walk-in shower and an expansive view of
the meadow and pond.
Up the open staircase you willl find four bright and airy bedrooms
decorated with cozy country quilts. Two rooms are furnished with
queen size beds. The third
bedroom has a full-sized bed. The fourth bedroom, nicknamed "the
hide-a-way room," due to it's sloped ceiling and hidden
curved stairs that lead to the kitchen, is furnished with two
twin beds and child-size fouton. This room is a favorite with our
young guests! A crib
is available upon request. For your convenience, all linens are
provided.
There are two bathrooms upstairs. The first bathroom is to the
front of the house and has a walk-in shower. Central to the
second bathroom is an antique ball-foot tub, the perfect place to
soak away your stress to the sound of horse and buggies passing by.
Hair dryers are located in each bathroom. Towels, hand
soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided for your convenience.
An iron and ironing board are also available.
Enjoy the peace and quiet of country life in the heart of
Pennsylvania's Amish country. At the guest house you can relax on
one of the two porches, have a picnic, enjoy catch and release fishing
at the pond, or bring your bike for a ride along winding country roads. You
can also visit the dairy to watch the cows as they are milked, pet the
calves or goats, play with the dogs and kittens, or hike the farm
trails. If that is not enough to fill your days, we are
conveniently located to many local attractions and outlet shopping.
